We have made the difficult decision to postpone Look Who’s Dancing Season 7 until fall of 2022.
Thank you, Wendy, for supporting our community’s most vulnerable residents. We hope to see you on the big stage next year!
Wendy is a self-proclaimed “professional” volunteer. From Little League and Cub Scouts to PTA and booster clubs, she has always had a love and passion for helping others and advocating for kids. Wendy’s volunteer career really took off with PTA. She has held many positions with PTA over the last 15 years, which is how she learned of Pathways of Hope.
Five years ago, she took over the PTA volunteer side of the Holiday Community Program, one of her biggest passion projects. She now is a regular volunteer at the Fullerton College food pantry, which she loves, and often jumps in and helps at Pathways of Hope’s food banks at NOCE and the HUB. Wendy is currently serving as Co-President of Fullerton Council of PTAs, where she gets to work with and guide all 25 Fullerton school PTAs.
You may also know Wendy as “that woman who’s always running!” She is an avid runner (thanks to her hubby), having completed five full marathons and too many half marathons to keep track of. You will often see her running along Skyline Drive and on the trails around Laguna Lake. She often says running is her therapy.
When Wendy is not running or volunteering, she is most likely hanging out with her family. She and her husband Mike have been married for 27 years, have two fantastic sons Jake (20) and Jack (17), and have lived happily in Fullerton for 25 years.
Wendy absolutely loves Pathways and the work they are doing to help end hunger and homelessness in our community! She has seen how the services Pathways offers can help change the lives of an entire family. Wendy believes that everyone deserves to feel nourished, safe, and loved, and believes that Pathways of Hope is providing that for so many.
