A message from Ann Stoddard, Volunteer Coordinator

Dear Pathways Volunteers,

We miss you!

We miss seeing you and we have been constantly thinking of you!

In fact, we have been planning how to reach out to you to let you know just how much we appreciate every one of you: our valuable volunteers.

We want to send you a heartfelt Thank You for all your kind words, the countless hours volunteering and supporting us so we can be a safe place where our community can turn to when they need housing and food.  You do so much for Pathways and we truly thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

We hope you will take a few minutes to open and read this document I created for you:
60 Reasons Why Pathways of Hope Loves our Volunteers!

Remote Volunteering!

We want you to feel connected to us during this strange time so we have created FIVE virtual remote opportunities that you can do to help others in need from the safety of your own home. You can pick one activity, several, or all of them. Please click on each link for instructions:

Making Masks PDF – We have 80 shelter clients, hundreds of HUB clients, and 20 employees needing masks.

Making Hygiene Kits PDF – We are serving an average of about 90 households per day at The HUB.

Making Family Activity Kits PDF– The families living in our shelters are staying at home all day with their kids to avoid COVID-19 exposure.

Making No Sew Grocery Bags PDF – These will be used to bag food for our clients who visit the HUB)

Making Cards (thank you and blank) PDF– These will be used to uplift the spirits of staff, clients, and volunteers)

Stay in touch!

We understand how hard it is to not be able to socialize with your friends and family, but our main wish is for you to stay safe and healthy. Our hope is for you to be able to volunteer onsite again soon and we can’t wait to see you!

In addition to our emails with updates you can follow us on social media. We are frequently posting lots of fun pictures of the staff at The HUB and shelters. Send us a message anytime on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or email! We want to hear from you!!!

Again, thank you for everything you do to support Pathways and the people we serve!

With gratitude,

Ann Stoddard
