Lissa LaMorte has been a Fullertonian for most of her life. She is a proud Alumna of CSUF – Go Titans! After 30 years in retail management, she discovered her calling as a Job Coach for intellectually disabled adults at their job sites. She retired at 65 and within one month she joined CSUF’s OLLI – a lifelong learning program for retirees. She takes many classes, but her favorite is the OLLI Flash Mob.
Lissa has recently entered her 7th decade, and she has found herself reflecting on her life. She feels she has been blessed with an average but happy life, but also feels she is more responsive to the struggles of others. She has lived in her home for almost 45 years. She knows that she could not purchase or rent a home today. This is sobering thought encouraged her to step up and assist Pathways and the families they serve…AND check off an item on her bucket list!
