Dear Friends of Pathways,
Pathways of Hope is excited to announce that we are receiving over $20 million dollars from the County of Orange for the Emergency Rental Assistance Program to rapidly expand our homelessness prevention services!
Our agency will disburse over $20 million throughout 2021 to residents of North OC who are at risk of becoming homeless due to the impacts of COVID-19.
It is no secret that since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have experienced an exponential increase in the number of people seeking help paying their rent.
Now, with this new funding from the County, we will be much more effectively equipped to meet this massive need in our community for Emergency Rental Assistance and homelessness prevention services.
Pathways of Hope plans to serve approximately 3,000 households with these funds – over 10,000 people – over the course of 2021.
Pathways is honored that the County of Orange has entrusted our agency with this enormous responsibility, and we are grateful to be able to provide this critical resource to vulnerable people in our community.
Going forward, Pathways of Hope will be seeking additional support from our community in order to scale up our food programs in conjunction with the expansion of our Homelessness Prevention Program. Stay tuned for more information about this coming soon!
